Love this song-"Someplce Green". Did you write it? I'm still wondering if we'll ever get to hear your "Flyin' Saucer" song. I only heard once but always remembered the chorus and thought it was so cute- especially since you were singing it to a child I remember when I heard you sing it on some TV show. Glad I have found your web site with information about your recordings. There is little available in England. Since becoming a fan in the early 60's I have only been able to get hold of five of your albums and two of those in the last year. When I was only 11 years old I fell in love with your voice and rode the bus to a record store and spent 99 cents to buy "Honeycomb" on a 45 rpm. record. It was the first of your songs that I bought and I still own those records. I return to those memories when I hear you on the radio. Thanks and God bless you, Jimmie.

Hey Jimmie,
Let me take you back about 58 Years ago...to Seoul, Korea and K-16 Air Force Base. You and I

were stationed there at the time for a few months. I remember many evenings we were at the

recreation room...you playing the guitar and piano and me trying to play the base fiddle. The one

song I remember you singing "Honeycomb". I remember often telling you..."you are good and

someday you will be a professional singer". Thank God you made it happen...I have often

wondered how you were and how you survived the terrible beating in 1967...I finally found your

web site and read your bio and everything I could find out about you. I hope you will email me so
