I had the pleasure of meeting you in Milwaukee at the Pfister Hotel where you were doing a gig. I requested "It's Over" which was one of my favorites. I remember you sat on a stool and played the guitar and sang. It was one of the best things ever to happen to me. I am still your devoted fan Jimmie. God bless you and keep you safe. I have been searching the internet to see if you were still singing, I came across jimmie rodgers who lived in Nashville thinking he was you so on this information me and my brother got plane tickets to come and see you with gifts from England that you sang about. When we visited you we found out that it was jimmie rodgers snow, we were disappointed but we could do nothing about it, I were wondering if I could come over to see you and make the right connection to the missing link as this would be a lifetime ambition. I beleive it was on the 4th of July in Fairbanks, Alaska during a parade. You were in a convertable just behind the Air Force Drill Team from Elmendof AFB. It was raining, and we were all soaked, but the show went on. At a breif stop, we were allowed to break ranks and talk to you. You even offer us a drink,( we declined as I remember) but thanks for the offer, it was cool that day, Loved your music then and still.

I was looking on Youtube some oldies songs (I always like oldies better than most modern music) and saw you doing "Honeycomb" "Waltzing Matilda" and some other tunes. I was impressed, what a voice! And beautiful songs as well.
I am a novice guitar player myself and I tried to get the chords by looking at your hands in the videos, but I couldnŽt. I would like to ask you if youŽre playing in a tuning other than standard. Maybe E-B-E-G#-B-E? and how do you do the chords... IŽm intrigued! Please!
