Hi Jimmie! I am so lucky to have come across your web site. I don't know just how to say it, but you make me feel good about everything after listening to your music. You have the ability to do that. I love your song "Some Place Green". I'm listening to it as I type this. I lost my father a year ago, he was 81 yrs. old. Your songs remind me of him. I'm sure that the two of you would have enjoyed each others company. He was a simple man who worked hard his whole life to provide for his family. Lots of love to you and yours.

I am interested in the history of theaters in Branson, Mo. I recently found out that Jimmie appeared at the "Remember When Theater" in Branson in1999'. Prior to that, in 1992, he owned his own theater in Branson called "The Honeycomb Family Theater". All I can find out about the theater is that he had sell-out crowds for four years. I am trying to find the address of the theater so I can see if it was an existing theater in Branson or if Jimmie had it built. I can't find it listed under other theaters there that have had name changes so I think he may have had it built and when it was sold, it was tured into something other than a theater.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Please e-mail me at "judyannlee@juno.com".

Oh Jimmy what memories your music has for me. When Honeycomb came out, our family was driving to Anchorage Alaska before the Alcan was completed and parts of it were just a dirt road (a lot of mud too). Six of us all stuffed in a car driving up the Alcan and all singing Honeycomb over and over and over. It was a trip I will never forget and you were a huge part of it and a lot of my life. Thank you so much for all the pleasure you have given me and others over so many years. God Bless You. You look great and I surely would love to see you perform one day.

I have always enjoyed Jimmie's music, going back to the 1950's. Such a fine voice, wonderful songs, from a fine person. It is nice to know that you are still around Jimmie, and still singing -- please don't ever stop! I have a tribute to Jimmie on my web site at www.tsimon.com/rodgers.htm.

I heard your interview on Sirius Radio last week (January 13,2012) and was delighted to be able to hear the entire interview while I was driving. It brought back so many memories of my pre teen and teen years...and I learned so much about your life and your friendship with Elvis and Buddy Holly. I am so glad to hear that you are doing well! I miss the songs of that era and thank goodness for radio stations who play them!

I'm not sure my first posted comment was sent.
But I enjoyed so much your movie The Little Shepherd from Kingdom Come. I saw it for the first time this morning and enjoyed it thoroughly. I enjoyed your role very much! You were a great actor and I wish you had done more movies. Just wanted to let you know how much I enjoyed both your music and your acting.

Hello, my uncle, Marty Severson played lead guitar for you in the early to mid 50's, when you were playing out of Camas, WA., prior to your hit Honeycomb.

He was always proud of his association with you and was glad of your success. He was an amazing musician who played purely by ear.

I was surprised and pleased to know you are still around and making music!
